After having read hundreds of books and many handwriting courses I would like to make a strong recommendation for experienced analysts, and even those with not so much experience, but, serious wannabe's.
Erika's SSS course is the most well put together course I have ever come across.
So that there be no mistake in my meaning, let me say that there have been a great number of individual teachers that I have tremendous respect for and have learned volumes from, but not the structure I have always wanted.
The SSS course is structured so well, that there is comfort in knowing that when you have gone through the steps, you may feel confident that no stone has gone unturned.
In regard to writing through and accurate reports when you are finished which can be the biggest hurdle for many of us.
Erika, together with Klaas Hogenesch, now also has an Excel computer spreadsheet supplement for the SSS. In it you enter your findings from the SSS worksheet, and an accurate well written report is automatically printed out. If you have entered the correct information you get a incisive high quality professional report that you will be proud to present.
This automatic report is structured so that you may add/change or remove non-relevant information, so you are not stuck with something that is carved in marble and, you may add your own particular style and insights to the data.
This report writer is what I have always been looking for.

Erika's five-volume Step By Step System of Handwriting Analysis is the only product of its kind on the market today, and I feel fortunate to have discovered it several years ago.
Erika is insatiably curious, possesses a remarkable intelligence, and has a no nonsense approach to academics and life in general. She questions everything and searches until she is fully satisfied she has tapped into every available source of information on any topic related to handwriting analysis. Then, she simplifies her findings and lays it before her students in a clear, understandable text. Her work clearly reflects decades of dedicated study, and her students reap the benefits by receiving a cornucopia of knowledge from the master graphologists of Germany, Switzerland, France and other European countries as well as the United States.
To complement and complete her courses of study, the Step By Step System of Analysis takes the student through the most critical (but often overlooked) final step of gathering all the knowledge and applying it to produce the written analysis. Similar to other integrated methods of analysis, one begins by completing a series of measurements and noting them on a worksheet.
Next, a comprehensive and highly objective observation of the handwriting takes place, and the results are noted on a second worksheet. When finished, a profile of the writer takes shape in the form of eight main headings of personality with forty related sub-headings. That in itself is quite an accomplishment, and all other integrated methods of analysis are content to end there, requiring the analyst to word the final written report alone. Not the Step By Step
System of Analysis....it's just getting warmed up! The last two volumes describe the writer according to the scores and findings of the two worksheets. While it would be impractical to include everything Dr. Karohs explains and suggests in these volumes, it is impossible to be left without something to say about the writer. The beginner may copy things word for word, but as experience and confidence grow, one's own words begin to flow as freely as those of Erika's examples.
Obviously I appreciate The Step By Step System of Analysis, and it is a pleasure to suggest it as a possible solution to those who are having difficulty integrating their knowledge into the final written report. I often wonder how many potentially gifted analysts our profession loses every year simply because they are not taught how to apply what they have learned. Of course that's the hardest part for everyone, and even with an integrated system of analysis, it is not an easy task. However, if you are a serious student of handwriting analysis and are willing to devote time and effort to mastering your craft, the Step By Step System of Analysis might very well be the answer you've been searching for.

I have been studying graphology for about thirty years mostly through buying books and studying them myself. I have done some work for a major company to screen out employees. I worked for a couple of decades in the Regional office of a national bank and found handwriting to be an extremely valuable tool in assessing bank clients. Dr. Karohs course is excellent. There are two distinct areas that I found worthwhile. Dr. Karohs has combined the narrative of the writing of a report as an integral part of the trait re-views. This way you can see the development of the subject personality as you progress as well as becoming aware of the inter-action of the various handwriting trait segments or syndromes. The other area I found worthwhile is the interpretation of the trait descriptions. You will find Erika very helpful and accommodating in the re-viewing of your lessons.

If I was given one word to describe Dr. Karohs' course, it would be "Masterpiece." It enables the graphologist to come up with a truly unique in-depth portrayal of the writer. Where other courses leave off, the SSS begins. The information that can be gleaned is so vast that in my own work, I charge extra whenever I analyze handwriting using her method.
The most memorable thing about her course occurred after I had completed it. I realized how much I did not know about graphology previously.
Taking the course was truly an eye-opening experience. Dr. Karohs helped to mold me into a bona fide graphologist by increasing my knowledge and confidence tenfold.

SSS was a tremendous help. Though labor intensive, I actually like to do the 'Score Sheet'; just like you said, the writer's personality grows on you during the scoring process.
As for the format, that too seems to present itself during the measuring and the scoring process: different syndromes are emphasized with different writers. The whole analysis takes life of own...
To be able to refer to your interpretations is definitely the best part. You say it in so many different ways...
