Push/pull
In the push/pull exercise, the upward movement, via nerves, reaches and stimulates the subcortical area of the brain and quickens all the mental processes, including concentration and self-control. In addition, it markedly increases mind/hand coordination. As the exercises become more fluid and harmonious, so will your golf swing.

The R16 exercise augments flexibility and helps golfers to deal more easily with unexpected changes throughout the golf game. In other words, it helps them to balance conservative and bold shots at the right time.
Flexibility is especially important in golf because players never have the same shot twice on the course.
Problematic shots are much easier to handle if players are flexible in their thinking. If they see that a strategy is not working as anticipated, they can revise it to achieve the kinds of results they are looking for. Staying flexible and open-minded allows them to react more effectively in a variety of circumstances.

This exercise increase the ability to concentrate.
In develops willpower – the power of self-direction.Players with willpower have the ability effectively direct themselves. This is a essential attribute in working purposefully toward predetermined goals.
To players with willpower, success is no accident. They plan it and they work on it, and they try to make each day a day of accomplishment and purpose. What they want, they go after with firmness of mind and it is not easy to sway them from their course. Willpower helps them to maintain a resolute mental attitude in spite of all setbacks and obstacles.
Willpower keeps their determination to succeed centered in the right direction.
Exercise R21
This exercise fosters relaxation.
It develops patience.Some players get very frustrated by delays. They get annoyed when other players are slow or “inefficient.” Any kind of holdup, any enforced waiting, gets them upset. They have great difficulty in devoting full attention to one shot. Their mind is constantly pushing forward to the next hole. Seldom at rest in mind or body, they rush ahead without thinking their moves through. As a result, they are prone making mistakes and losing focus.
Exercise R21 develops patience and a relaxed attitude. Players with these qualities have a more easy-going manner. They are mentally relaxed about things taking longer to happen. They calmly tolerate waiting and refuse to be provoked by delays. They have a longer attention span and calmly go about executing their shots. Their focus is on what they want to do without becoming restless and fidgety. They can tune out irritations while pondering a hole or awaiting their turn.
