Shrink your score!
Break free of performance anxiety!
Function effectively under pressure!

Beat the yips once and for all!

Nothing sends a golfer's spirits soaring like the sight of that little white ball rolling into the cup for a match-winning birdie and yet, few golfers play consistently as well as they should according to their skill and training.

Why?

When golfers have "on" or off" days, the difference is more often due to their emotions rather than fluctuations in their skills. Their muscles don't forget how to hit a ball, but an anxious state of mind can ruin the easiest shot.

Negative momentum is often created by negative emotions during play. When a player hasn't made any birdies and perhaps a bogey or two, he easily becomes a doubter and feels "down." Pessimism and feelings of despair then accelerate negative momentum.

You know what it's like.

So what do you do about it?

If you miss a short put for par, do you call yourself all kinds of names and then want to break your putter over your knee?

It's not your putter that's the problem.

The fault is not with your game, your putting, or your swing.

It's in your own mind.

No, not in your thoughts. Not in your conscious mind. The obstruction is deeper. It is where you rarely look. It is in your subconscious. Your subconscious is sabotaging you.

But I have good news for you.

Grapho-Cybernetics will put a stop to all the mental self-sabotage that is holding you back. With Grapho-Cybernetics you will finally be able to show your subconscious mind exactly how to let you achieve what you consciously want.

The Grapho-Cybernetics program is designed in two parts:

Part One
features Grapho-Cybernetics exercises for the right hand written from left to right.

These exercises increase physical coordination and performance. They help golfers to get unstuck from unproductive habits that are bringing unfavorable results. Specifically, they enable golfers to accomplish the following:

  • develop concentration and keep mental focus on the present moment
  • alleviate tension and nervousness and stay in control of their emotions
  • resolve any self-defeating unconscious habit patterns that prevent them from winning
  • keep their patience throughout the waiting inherent in golf
  • develop and sustain self-confidence throughout the game
  • alleviate jerky movements and develop a rhythmical swing
  •

Concentration is of utmost value for peak performance in any sport. Players must be in control of their thoughts and emotions before they can control their performance. It is especially important in golf because golfers are required to turn their concentration on and off so many times throughout the game. It is hard to refocus and hit a good shot when your last shot was ten minutes ago. Fear, doubt, worry, and anxiety are inner thieves that are trying to steal your inner poise and peace of mind.

With Grapho-Cybernetics you will learn to concentrate in such a way that it is difficult, if not impossible, for these forces to enter your mind. If doubt enters into your mind, the power of concentration will destroy it. If fear encroaches upon your thoughts, the power of concentration will chase out the fear.

In time, you will find out that you can concentrate anywhere, anytime, no matter what the circumstances are.

Do you know what this means?

Instead of getting caught up in your thoughts and emotions, as you might usually do, you will be able to concentrate, think and function under the most trying circumstances, staying relaxed, calm, and composed.

Greg Norman describes it as being "in a bubble," or in a "cocoon" in which nothing can penetrate his focus.

Golfers with full concentration are not thinking about their next shot or their last putt, but about this shot and they handle it as if it were the most important thing in their life in the moment.

But very few golfers concentrate as well as they should. Their minds are not properly trained for this kind of self-mastery, the self-directing power of concentration. Many players, rich in ability, lose their grip on themselves because they lack the power of concentrated focus. With their mind in turmoil, they waste a good deal of their energies.

    Are you able to concentrate?

    Ask yourself.

Can you direct your thought to one problem or one task for five minutes, ten minutes, or fifteen minutes to the absolute exclusion of everything else?

Most likely you will find that you cannot. Your mind will wander a dozen times and at the end of the ten minutes nothing will have been gained because you have not been able to hold your attention on your thought.

With Grapho-Cybernetics you will acquire the power to concentrate. If you do the sessions faithfully each day you will soon develop this wonderful power.

The reward is worth the effort a thousand fold.

Any physical tension is the enemy of good golf. Just a bit of tension can throw off a golfer's best shot. Doubt, hesitation, anger, insecurity, or nervousness can easily ruin the rhythm of a good game.

When you are experiencing inner turmoil after three-putting from ten feet, it is very difficult to calmly accept it and move on to the next hole. Stress makes your head and shoulder tense which makes you grip the club too hard. Anger causes you to walk faster, rush your shots, swing faster, or hurry up your pre-shot routine.

With Grapho-Cybernetics, you will learn to reduce and eliminate mental and physical tension and get your body and your mind re-focused on the current shot.

For some reason many players tend to think and rethink self-defeating unconscious habit patterns and beliefs. But these self-limiting expectations are the same ones that did not work well before and now block them from what they want. Said another way, they keep them from winning.

They may be operating right now inside of your own head.

Grapho-Cybernetics exercises will teach you how to change that.

To be successful, you'll have to transform those negative habit patterns into new ones that enhance your ability to play well. Unhealthy or irrational beliefs will keep you stuck no matter how hard you practice or how hard you try!

Putting the Grapho-Cybernetics exercises into practice will change unproductive habit patterns into positive ones and enable you to succeed at shots that seemed nearly impossible before.

Patience is a key trait for golfers. During an average round, players spend about forty minutes actually playing their shots. This means more than three hours of waiting time. Not many players can wait patiently for hours without irritation or stay mentally relaxed during delays.

The Grapho-Cybernetics exercises teach you to stay patient and poised. You will learn to relax your focus during waiting time and save your concentration for your next shot.

Great golfers have more than a good putting stroke. They have confidence and the belief that they can win.

They have a state of mind that says, "I can do this!"

    Can you do the same?

For many players self-confidence is elusive. When they play well, they have it, if they miss a shot it's Goodbye confidence and this kills their momentum.

Players often go to the first tee to see what kind of game they have for that day. If they miss putts early in the round, they are apt to tell themselves, "I'm having a poor putting day!" They go into an emotional downhill spiral and their pessimism then continues the entire day.

With the Grapho-Cybernetics exercises you'll be able to keep feelings of self-worth and self-confidence intact and you'll be able to do so without special effort.

YIPS. Everyone who has played golf knows the mind-numbing fear of this malady. It is like a dreaded disease. Yips have driven many good golfers out of the game. Putting confidence declines steadily and the more the player putts, the worse it seems to get.

Johnny Miller says: "You can stand over a 10-foot putt and no matter how hard you try, you can't take the putter away from the ball. Everything freezes…"

Yips are so scary and so destructive and so unpredictable that golfers don't even want to watch the pathetic attempts of sufferers. The yips might be catching. Just hearing the word mentioned, they walk away as fast as they can.

Golfers have tried every solution under the sun - hypnosis, meditation, using different putters, a new grip, taking anxiety-reducing medications.

    But nothing seems to work.

    Expect Grapho-Cybernetics.

    With Grapho-Cybernetics, two things happen.

The afflicted players can get rid of jerky muscle patterns that are causing a faulty rhythm and replace them with harmoniously balanced movements.

More importantly, they can regain their confidence and overcome the paralyzing fear of missing puts.

    The difference is HUGE.

    Part Two

Part Two of the program features Grapho-Cybernetics "mirror" exercises for the left hand written from right to left.

These exercises in Part Two are very powerful. They teach players to become better physically coordinated. Specifically, they enable them to

  • become proficient in judging distance and space
  • become dexterous with the left hand
  • become ambidextrous
  • Judging distance and space
Golf is in great part a visual task. Players must "read" the greens correctly and also "see" or imagine the line that the ball will travel. As players move from behind the ball (low on the ground) to above the ball, their minds are apt to play tricks on them. Perception changes and so does recognition of the line.

The better players can "read" the course, and the more accurately they can "see" the line, the more putts they will make.

Mirror exercises promote swifter back-and-forth eye movements which, in turn, enables players to better judge distance and space.

    Left-handed dexterity

In golf, the left hand has the main grip on the club while only the fingers of the right hand make contact. But with most players the left hand is less agile and, as a result, playing can be uneven and often incorrect. If both hands are equally well trained, this is certainly an advantage because players are able to execute each hand movement with absolute precision.

    Ambidexterity

Ambidexterity is important for several reasons.

  • It enhances physical dexterity and performance.
  • It stimulates brain growth.
  • It facilitates increased use of both brain hemispheres.
  •

Why does the Grapho-Cybernetics program work?
Startling as it may appear at first exposure to the idea, consistently repeated writing strokes will affect a person's subconscious, either in a positive or negative manner.

Dr. Rudolf Pophal, a German neurologist/graphologist has proven through extensive studies that the rhythmic, interactive, repetitive manipulation of thumbs and fingers impacts the brain on both the physiological and psychological level. Repetitive handwriting movements first activate and engage the brain's lower level. This neural data is then transmitted through the emotional brain to the higher brain.

Since the brain is plastic, it can be molded and shaped. Through specific handwriting input with the appropriate frequency and duration the brain physically changes structure. This structural change takes place through the growth and branching between brain cells (neurons).

When brain structure is changed, the function and behavior of the individual changes also. Brain structure determines function.

The concept is by no means new.

The Greeks devised an ingenious system of "grapho-therapy" to increase both-handedness, which was of distinct benefit in sports and battle.

At the Sorbonne in Paris, France, in 1929, Graphic Psychotherapy was tested clinically by Dr. Pierre Janet and Charles Henry.

In Germany, grapho-therapy is used successfully in clinical setting. In the state of Hesse, Germany, elementary schools have successfully used grapho-therapy for the purpose of rehabilitating dyslexic children.

Dr. Karohs, who has written 71 books on handwriting analysis, has designed this innovative program for golf. Based upon the knowledge and understanding of this brain plasticity, she has brought handwriting therapy to a new level.

Music for Concentration, Thinking and Learning

Three CD's with "Music for Concentration," "Music for Thinking," and "Music for Learning" are an integral part of the program. They greatly intensify the effectiveness of the Grapho-Cybernetics exercises.

These CD's from Advanced Brain Technologies were carefully selected because of their rich therapeutic value and tonal harmonies.

Baroque music with a tempo of 50 - 60 beats per minute is similar to the human heart beat and has an amazing capacity to influence the brain's rhythm. It helps to tame the brain, so to speak, and thereby creates the optimal environment for acquiring knowledge and mastering new skills.

Tests at Iowa State University found that slow Baroque music speeded up learning by 24 percent and increased memory retention by 26 percent.

Albert Einstein's solution to struggles with a complicated formula was to pick up the violin, an instrument he began playing at the age of six, and play Beethoven and Mozart sonatas.

Amazingly, this music also provides health benefits such as lower muscle tension, lower blood pressure, and a slower pulse rate.

    Practicing Grapho-Cybernetics requires self-discipline

    Practicing Grapho-Cybernetics is simple.

I said "simple," but that does not mean "easy." It won't happen automatically, just by holding the book in your hand or thinking beautiful thoughts. There is no magic or hocus pocus.

You will have to read, understand, and practice the exercises in the manuals and work books.

Unless you plan to do this, you had better not start at all because modern psychology tells us that when we start something and do not complete it or make a resolution and do not keep it, we are forming the habit of failure, absolute, ignominious failure. It's called trying and failing, a familiar experience for most people.

If you do not intend to carry through, do not start. Momentary enthusiasm is of no value. If you do start, see it through, even if the heavens fall. Let nothing, no one, interfere.

Remember! A hit and miss program will not bring the desired results!

And, if the schedule is interrupted for any reason, the program has to be started again.

However, just think of all the time and energy you already spent on activities that didn't work. And now think of al the time and energy you'll free up by knowing how to play to your full potential, and to do so every time.

Because Grapho-Cybernetics may well be the single most powerful, effective technique ever developed for the highest possible achievement in golf.

A Grapho-Cybernetics program will take a minimum of three to four months. It may take longer if a person is negatively resistant, but it will be effective, as long as the exercises are done regularly. It will take longer because the individual, while consciously working to achieve changes, will subconsciously fight them.

It takes approximately three weeks to feel the beginning of changes because that is generally the time period required to establish a new habit pattern. Continuing the exercises after that reinforces the new pattern and makes it permanent.

    One Last Thing -

You don't have to believe this is going to work.

You probably have your doubts. You most likely want to win but you are highly suspicious that this method will work for you.

    The truth is this:

You can either quit here and find all of this amusing, or you can take it seriously and let it help you to become a Champion.

Winning depends on the mindset. If you want - REALLY want - to win, and win again and again… all you have to do is start the exercises today - start them right now!

As Norman Schwarzkopf once said… "The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it."

So go for it. And go for it RIGHT NOW!

Comprehensive handwriting analysis and individualized exercises

The Grapho-Cybernetics program starts with a comprehensive handwriting analysis that Dr. Karohs will prepare personally for you. This analysis uncovers in detail your strengths as well as any fears that might badger you and hold you back.

In addition to the Grapho-Cybernetics program, Dr. Karohs will then devise a number of individualized exercises that focus specifically on any potential problem areas. These individualized exercises enhance the effectiveness of the Grapho-Cybernetics program and speed up the elimination of any self-defeating habit patterns.

(Dr. Karohs' fee for a comprehensive handwriting analysis is normally $1500 but you will receive it and the individualized exercises for free with the Grapho-Cybernetics program.)

One more thing. Should you make direct changes in your handwriting?

While it is true that Grapho-Cybernetics is handwriting therapy, no direct changes should be made to the handwriting itself, except under the guidance of a professionally trained and experienced grapho-therapist.

Some unscrupulous self-styled "grapho-therapists" advocate changing bits and pieces of one's handwriting to strengthen or weaken certain personality traits. They suggest, among other things, elevating the t-bar,  underlining the signature, etc. etc.

    This is outright dangerous!

While so-called handwriting "corrections" may result in a more pleasing writing picture there is, more often than not, pronounced subconscious resistance to the new forms, resulting in excessive tension or serious personality disturbances. This is due to the fact that through letter "corrections" evidence of an "undesirable" trait is eliminated in one place; however, it unknowingly tends to resurface, together with other kinds of resistance traits, in other letters or stroke combinations.

The Grapho-Cybernetics program uses carefully designed global exercises without actually changing particular letter forms. One exercise builds upon the previous one. Positive handwriting changes occur involuntarily as the global exercises develop and strengthen positive traits.

The results within the personality are emotional, mental, and physical harmony, stability, and balance.
